Detri Nakee Reliford, a 39-year-old African American woman from Americus, Georgia, tragically lost her life on February 8, 2019. She was the victim of a fatal shooting incident that occurred early in the morning on Starlight Circle. Detri was shot in the head and was initially treated at the scene before being transported to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. She was later airlifted to a trauma center in Macon, where she succumbed to her injuries on February 9, 2019.
