Eddie Waters, a 44-year-old African American man, was found dead in his home on Patterson Circle in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Georgia, on May 3, 2019. The discovery was made around 5 a.m. after a neighbor called 911 upon hearing gunshots. When police arrived, they found several bullets had hit the home, and multiple shell casings were scattered on the ground outside.
