Maria Book, a 49-year-old woman from Port Wentworth, GA, was found deceased on September 13, 2019, in what authorities have described as a suspected murder-suicide. The Port Wentworth Police Department was alerted by a family member that Maria Book might be in danger. Upon conducting a wellness check, officials discovered her body.
