In the late summer evening of August 31, 2018, a quiet street in Port Wentworth, Georgia, became the scene of a tragic and violent event that claimed the life of 28-year-old Monique Williams. The events unfolded around 7:00 p.m. when the Savannah-Chatham Metro Dispatch received a harrowing 911 call reporting that a young girl and another person had been shot at a residence on South Coastal Highway.
