Derrick Dennis, a 55-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on November 2, 2019, in Norcross, Georgia. The incident occurred in a townhome community on Beaver Springs Lane, where police responded to a call about a person shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of Derrick Dennis and his 30-year-old nephew, Josh Dennis, both of whom had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
