Malik Samir Werts, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 31, 2020, in Norcross, Georgia. The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Ashley Lakes Drive, where Malik was found dead inside one of the apartments. The investigation revealed that the homicide was motivated by drug activity and robbery. Malik's death was a result of a shooting during a home invasion.
