Marcus Jameel Gilead

Marcus Jameel Gilead, a 28-year-old Black man from Loganville, was killed on February 10, 2020, after what began as an ordinary evening at his home on Wrenwood Court and turned into a planned robbery. Police said he was sitting in an SUV in the driveway with another man, Ciavy Wiles, just after 8:00 p.m. Neighbors heard a burst of gunfire and called 911. When officers arrived, they found Gilead wounded in the vehicle area outside the home. He was taken to a hospital, but he did not survive.
