On March 14, 2020, 17-year-old Jamonte Solomon, an African American male, was tragically killed in a shooting at the Huddle House on East Hancock Street in Milledgeville, Georgia. The incident occurred around 4:15 a.m., when officers responded to reports of gunfire and found Solomon dead at the scene. Another victim, 24-year-old Eric Marshall, was also injured in the shooting and transported to Navicent Health Baldwin for treatment.
