Benigno "Tito" Santos, a 48-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically killed on June 18, 2020, in Augusta, Georgia. The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 a.m. at 4937 Mike Padgett Highway, the residence of a woman both Santos and the suspect had dated. The altercation that led to Santos' death was reportedly over this woman. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Santos had been shot and killed.
