In a tragic turn of events on a summer evening, Christopher Brooks, a 53-year-old male, lost his life while extending a helping hand. On July 5, 2020, Brooks was at a Chevron gas station on Pryor Road in Atlanta, aiding a driver with their vehicle when gunfire erupted. He was caught in the crossfire of what was described as a triple shooting and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other individuals were also injured in the incident.
