In the summer of 2020, a fatal shooting in Bainbridge, Georgia, claimed the life of James Lamar Guy Jr., a 35-year-old male. The incident unfolded on a Friday afternoon, just before 2 p.m. on July 17th, in the 800 block of College Street. When Bainbridge Public Safety officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that Guy had been fatally wounded.
