On November 28, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in Bainbridge, Georgia, resulting in the deaths of 19-year-old Tyiun Montravious Adams and his mother, 36-year-old Shendora "Dora" Adams. Both were fatally shot in their home on Hunter Road during the morning hours of Thanksgiving Day. Authorities identified the perpetrator as 36-year-old Jamar Calloway, Shendora's ex-boyfriend.
