Charles Pharms Jr., a 66-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on August 12, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Oliver Street around 12:45 p.m. Pharms was one of three individuals shot during the incident, which also involved former NFL star Chip Banks and another man identified as Bennie C. Harris. Banks, 60, was in serious condition following the shooting, while Harris's condition was not specified. Pharms was declared dead at the scene.
