Demetrius Dow, a 40-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on August 28, 2022, at the District at Vinings apartment complex in Vinings, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Cobb County police responded to a call around 4 a.m. and found Dow with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by first responders to treat his injuries, Dow succumbed to his wounds at the scene.
