John Shane McAfee, a 38-year-old white male, was tragically shot and killed on October 3, 2020, in Milledgeville, Georgia. McAfee, who had served in the U.S. Army and worked at the Tractor Supply Company in Baldwin County, had just returned home from work when he was fatally shot in the abdomen. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. as he was parking his truck in his yard. Despite efforts to save him, McAfee succumbed to his injuries shortly after the shooting.
