Morice Shiggs, a 19-year-old African American male from Sylvania, Georgia, was found dead on November 27, 2020, at the One Eleven South apartment complex off Rucker Lane in Statesboro, Georgia. His body was discovered with an apparent gunshot wound, leading to an immediate investigation by the Statesboro Police Department.
