James Adams, a 28-year-old African American male, was found dead on December 10, 2020, on Peeples Street in southwest Atlanta. Authorities reported that Adams was involved in a gang-related drive-by shooting with Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett. During the incident, Adams was struck in the head by return fire, leading to his death.
