Lionel Robinson, a 54-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on January 24, 2021, at the Ashford Town and Country Apartments in Fairburn, Georgia. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 6:30 a.m., when police responded to reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, officers found Robinson's body behind one of the apartment buildings. The investigation into his death revealed that he had been shot, and the case was treated as a homicide from the outset.
