Darryl Dewight McCrary, a 46-year-old African American male from Macon, GA, was fatally shot on May 17, 2021. The incident occurred at the Reliance Food Mart on Napier Avenue in Bibb County. According to reports, McCrary was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of the food mart when he was shot. The Bibb County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead at the scene.
