In the summer of 2021, on June 24th, the life of 29-year-old Shannon Cadeedra Riley was tragically cut short in Brunswick, Georgia. That afternoon, officers from the Brunswick Police Department were dispatched to the 1500 block of Mansfield Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Shannon suffering from gunshot wounds. She was rushed to the nearby Southeast Georgia Health System, but her injuries proved to be fatal, and she died at the hospital.
