In the summer of 2021, a heated argument between brothers in Macon, Georgia, culminated in a tragic loss of life. On July 7, 19-year-old Marquez Card was shot during a dispute on Dewey Street. He was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries a few days later.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office quickly identified a person of interest in the shooting: Marquez's own brother, 20-year-old James Card. A search for James ensued, and on July 21, he was located and apprehen ...
