In the summer of 2021, a dispute in the parking lot of a Southwest Atlanta apartment complex escalated into a fatal act of violence, claiming the life of 32-year-old Nicholas P. Brown. The male victim was found by police on the evening of July 20, 2021, suffering from a gunshot wound at the Kimberly Way apartments. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
