On August 17, 2021, Yemi Ezekiel Mabiaku, a 22-year-old African American male from Atlanta, GA, was tragically killed in a double shooting at the Kroger located in the Orchard Park Shopping Center in Sandy Springs. The incident occurred in the evening, and it was later revealed that the shooting was not a random act of violence.
