In the evening hours of September 18, 2019, a young man's life was cut short in a fatal shooting near a northwest Atlanta apartment complex. The victim was later identified as 20-year-old Tamal Daniels of Atlanta.
Atlanta police officers responded to a call just after 8:15 p.m. in the 2900 block of Delmar Lane. Upon arrival, they discovered Daniels with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
He was immediately transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
