Percy Welch Jr., a 46-year-old African American male from Macon, Georgia, tragically passed away on October 10, 2021, after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred in the backyard of a residence on Cherry Avenue in west Macon. Welch was one of three individuals shot on the night of October 10, 2021.
