On November 14, 2012, 18-year-old African American male Christopher Briggs was fatally shot in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred on the 2800 block of Fenwick Avenue, located in the Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore. This area has been known for elevated crime rates, and the shooting took place near a city surveillance camera, which may have captured footage pertinent to the investigation.
