In the summer of 2020, the life of 32-year-old Tavonte Briggs was cut short in a burst of gunfire on a Baltimore street. On the afternoon of July 25th, police were called to the 300 block of South Franklintown Road where they discovered Briggs suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The male victim's death was the result of a violent encounter that began during a dice game.
