On a Thursday evening in Bainbridge, Georgia, the life of 25-year-old Destiny Young, an African American female, was tragically cut short. On November 4, 2021, around 9 p.m., in the 200 block of Sims Street, gunfire erupted, leaving three people shot. Young was one of the victims, and despite immediate medical attention, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital.
