Deondre Reynolds, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 4, 2021, in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred at a residence on 25th Avenue, where Reynolds was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. According to court testimonies, Reynolds was sitting on a couch when Emmanuel Truitt, an acquaintance, entered the home and began questioning him.
