Paris Bernard Thompson, an 18-year-old African American male from Griffin, Georgia, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2021. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 2 a.m., on the 400 block of North 9th Street. Paris was found with a gunshot wound to his leg at a nearby residence and was subsequently transported to Atlanta Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The circumstances surrounding his death have left the community in shock and mourning.
