David Barnes, a 35-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 28, 2022, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred in an East Point apartment, where Barnes was fatally shot by his girlfriend, Latasha Davine Bittle, aged 44. The shooting took place shortly before noon, and Barnes was immediately rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries.
