John Battle, a 28-year-old African American male from Lithonia, GA, tragically lost his life on March 3, 2022, in a shooting incident at a gas station on Covington Highway. The incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. when Battle, accompanied by a female companion and a child, was driving away from the gas station.
