Treyveon Amar Lanier, a 15-year-old African American male from Metter, Georgia, tragically lost his life on June 14, 2022. Treyveon, affectionately known as "Trey," was a rising sophomore at Metter High School, where he was actively involved in sports, including basketball, football, and track. He was also a member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and played for the Statesboro Highlights. Treyveon was known for his passion for video games and his close relationships with family and friends.
