Laquan Dewberry, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 24, 2022, in LaGrange, Georgia. The incident occurred at Mason's World restaurant on Hogansville Road, where a confrontation between two groups escalated into a violent altercation. During the fight, Laquan was shot in the upper torso. He was found at a nearby car wash and, despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
