In a tragic and senseless act of violence, 26-year-old Brittany Macon was shot and killed on a Sunday evening in June 2022 at the Subway restaurant where she worked in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The dispute that led to her death was reportedly over the amount of mayonnaise on a customer's sandwich. Macon, who had only been working at the Subway for a few weeks, was shot by a customer following a verbal altercation.
