In the summer of 2022, a domestic dispute in an Atlanta-area apartment escalated into a violent and tragic event that claimed the life of 60-year-old Carolyn Griffin. An African American woman, Griffin was at her Clayton County residence on July 5, 2022, when an argument with her 44-year-old boyfriend, Kevin Nicholas Barge, turned deadly.
