In the early hours of a Thursday morning in Augusta, Georgia, the life of 35-year-old Damien Tanksley was tragically cut short. On August 4, 2022, at approximately 12:46 a.m., gunfire erupted at the Get-N-Go gas station located on the 2350 block of Windsor Spring Road. Deputies responded to reports of a shooting and arrived to a scene of chaos and violence.
