On a summer night in Baltimore, a promising young life was tragically cut short. Fifteen-year-old Deshaun Jones, a male, was killed on August 24, 2013, in a burst of gunfire that erupted in West Baltimore. The incident, which occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of W. Fayette Street, also left six other people wounded, marking it as the city's largest mass shooting since 2009.
