Lynn Carol Elliott, a 17-year-old from Vero Beach, Florida, tragically lost her life on July 26, 1983. On that fateful day, Lynn and her friend, 14-year-old Regan Martin, were hitchhiking to Wabasso Beach when they were picked up by David Alan Gore and his cousin, Fred Waterfield. The two men, later known as the "Killing Cousins," had a history of violent crimes and were on a spree that terrorized Indian River County.
