On November 10, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Vero Beach, Florida, resulting in the deaths of Shelby Lynn Baker, a 19-year-old pregnant teenager, and her grandmother, Amanda Baker, 68. The incident happened during a home invasion at a residence in the Vero Beach Highlands neighborhood, specifically in the 600 block of 23rd Place Southwest.
