Waymon Dee Allen, a 39-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on March 15, 1987, in Polk County, Florida. Allen, who served as a Special Agent with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, was accidentally shot and killed by a fellow officer during a drug raid. This unfortunate incident occurred while Allen and other officers were executing a search warrant on a rooming house in Winter Haven, where suspected illicit drug dealing was taking place.
