Richard Menendez, a 64-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically killed on August 18, 1995, in Tampa, Florida. Menendez, a traveling salesman specializing in floral supplies, was at his home in Temple Terrace when the incident occurred. The crime took place during a robbery, where Menendez was shot and killed by Lolita Barthel, a 17-year-old female, just weeks shy of her 18th birthday.
