Jerry Michael "Mike" Williams, a 31-year-old white male, disappeared on December 16, 2000, during a duck hunting trip on Lake Seminole, Florida. Initially, it was believed that he had drowned after falling out of his boat, and his body was presumed to have been eaten by alligators. However, his mother, Cheryl Williams, suspected foul play and tirelessly campaigned for further investigation.
