John Robert Thomas, a 19-year-old male from Lake City, Florida, was tragically killed on December 9, 2001. John, who was known for his love of baseball and his radiant smile, had borrowed his cousin's 1997 gray Nissan Altima to return a bracelet to the local Walmart. Surveillance footage from the Walmart parking lot indicated that there were possibly two other individuals in the car with him that night.
