Jadon Lane Vaughn, a 14-year-old from Lake City, Florida, tragically passed away on December 26, 2018. Jadon was staying at a friend's house in the 200 block of Southeast Anastasia Street when he was shot around 7 p.m. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office reported that Jadon was with two brothers, aged 11 and 9, at the time of the incident.
