Quinn Burchfield, a three-year-old boy from Tampa, Florida, tragically died on November 2, 2002, after accidentally shooting himself on October 28, 2002. The incident occurred when Quinn pulled his father's jeans off a dresser, retrieved a .32-caliber pistol from the pocket, and accidentally shot himself in the neck. He was immediately taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he remained in critical condition for five days before succumbing to his injuries.
