Rigoberto Alpizar, a 44-year-old Costa Rican-born U.S. citizen, tragically lost his life on December 7, 2005, at Miami International Airport. Alpizar, who resided in Maitland, Florida, was returning from a missionary trip to Quito, Ecuador, with his wife, Anne Buechner.
