Jeffrey Maxwell, a 25-year-old construction worker from Denison, Texas, was tragically killed on May 26, 2006, in Palm Coast, Florida. His body was discovered in Graham Swamp near Old Kings Road, having been shot three times. The discovery of his body led to the closure of parts of Old Kings Road from Oak Trails Boulevard to State Road 100 as investigators gathered evidence.

The investigation revealed that Maxwell had been shot by Brian Christopher Wothers, a 29-year-old Iraq War veteran. ...
