Ahmad Rashad Laster Sr., a 36-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on September 19, 2017, in Palm Coast, Florida. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 4:00 a.m., when a neighbor heard a gunshot and found Laster lying in the driveway of a house on Parkview Drive, bleeding from a head wound. Despite being rushed to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Laster succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
