John "Jack" Pehota, a 77-year-old white male, died on September 23, 2015, in Palm Coast, Florida. His death was the result of a gunshot wound inflicted by his wife, Anna Pehota. John had a heart condition and mobility impairment, which made his daily life challenging. He was known for his love of the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing, and he had a collection of guns. His death occurred in their home in The Hammock, a neighborhood in Palm Coast.
